PROGRAMS

All students are assessed and an individual program is constructed that focuses on their area of need. The program is planned to revise and learn new concepts and skills, gradually increasing a child's confidence and ability to tackle literacy and numeracy with a degree of independence.

LESSONS

Lessons run for one hour in small groups of two to four students and include a mixture of computer, written and sheet work, with tasks aimed at maintaining interest and activity. Lessons are reinforced through homework, which is an integral part of the program. Each child works on their own subject and individual program with plenty of one-to-one assistance and monitoring.

Tomaree Tutoring is owned and operated by Judy Colclough, a fully qualified teacher with over 16 years tutoring experience gained through running a successful tutoring franchise in Mudgee NSW. She is a member of the Australian Tutoring Association and a fully accredited tutor. The centre currently has a team of tutors with a wealth of teaching experience, who can cater for all grade levels through to HSC English and Mathematics in Salamander Bay and Medowie.
